He was predeceased by: his mother Sue Zanne Childress Anderson (Ralph David Anderson); his stepfather Gerald Grier of Rising Star; his niece Emily Morgan of Hugo, Oklahoma; and his grandparents, Oleta Baker Childress and Brady James'Skeet'Childress of Brownfield.
He is survived by: his sister Kim Merryman; his niece Chelcey Akins (Courtney); his great-niece Ti'Lee Akins; his great-nephew Payden Henson of Boswell, Oklahoma; and his great-aunt Fredda Criswell of Carbon.
