He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiades Gonzalez and Antonia Gonzalez; and his siblings, Jorge Gonzalez, Melquiades Jr. Gonzalez (Francisca M.), Juan Gonzalez (Estela), Ofilia Santiago (Manuel), Zulema Carrion (Felix), Maria Cristina Torres (Santiago) and Cora De Los (Mario).
He is survived by: his wife Maria E. Gonzalez; his daughter Herica Brondo (Jorge); his grandsons, Joel Omar Jr. Elizondo (Madeline) and Javier Andres Elizondo; and his sister-in-law Elda L. Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
