He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Coker; his granddaughter Heather Cobb; his parents, Lawrence Coker and Colan Coker; and his siblings, Charles Coker (Mary), James Coker, Dorothy Tanton (Cooter) and Betty Coker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Cobb (Dean) and Cindy Rector (John); his grandchildren, Courtney Cates (Michael), Joseph Meche (Adrian), Donald Cobb, Desirae Grove (Erik) and Rosa San Miguel; and his great grandchild Blake Grove. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
