He is survived by: his spouse Arlina Garcia of San Ygnacio, TX.; his children, Derly Jr., Robert, Selina Lynnae and Lindsey Annette Thatcher; his granddaughters, Kimberly Faith Thatcher of Zapata and Lucìa Alìz Medina of Zapata; his former wife Arlina G. Thatcher of Zapata; his grandchildren, Samantha Marie Thatcher, Oscar Maickol Thatcher, Grecia Giselle Medina and Derly Thatcher III; his brothers, Juan Thatcher Jr. (Petrita) and Rudy Thatcher (Elisa); and his sister-in-law Gloria Thatcher. He is also survived by the fourth born of eight siblings and the third oldest of five brothers.
