He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sue Avaritt (Ridgway) and Charles Edmond Avaritt, II. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Elizabeth Avaritt of Laredo, Texas; his grandson Leonardo Raymundo Leal of Laredo, Texas; and his nephews, James Howard Flynn Jr. (Janet) of Magnolia and Charles Douglas Flynn (Ann) of Haymarket, Virginia.
