She was predeceased by: her husband Silvestre Garcia Jr.; her son Sergio Silvestre Garcia (Letty); her grandson Ricky Peña III; her parent Elvira R. Landeros; and her sister Nellie Hardin.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Peña Jr. (Ricky), Carlos Garcia (Melba), Gracie Zavala (Enrique), Sandra A. Rodriguez, Felix Garcia and Norma Madrigal. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces that she also loved like her own children, and numerous cousins.
