He is survived by: his children, Gonzalo Antonio Chapa (Miralda), Lamberto Chapa (Martha), Jaime Chapa (Teresa), Omar Chapa (Maribel), Leonor Cantu (Hijinio), Angelica Chapa (Israel), Oralia Gallegos (Andres) and Julieta Santos (Heraclio); his sisters, Leonila, Ninfa Arredondo and Guadalupe Chapa; and his brothers-in-law, Homero Jasso and Marcelino Martinez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
