He was predeceased by: his parents, Erasmo Guerra-Montemayor and Teofila Guerra-Montemayor; his son-in-law Jesus Ramon Ubalde; and his siblings, Rodolfo Guerra and Martha Rodriguez (Sergio).
He is survived by: his wife Evelia Galindo of Guerra; his children, Amaro Jr. Guerra (Karen), Joel Guerra (Isaura) and Edith Villarreal (Ricardo); his grandchildren, Melissa Ubalde, Clarissa Ubalde, Gisselle Ubalde, Annette Ubalde, Jesus Ubalde, Goldie Villarreal, Arely Guerra and David Guerra; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Garcia, Alonzo Garcia, Agustin Garcia, Alia Gonzalez and Roberto Medina; his brothers, Eliud Guerra (Rosario), Hector Guerra (Connie) and Mito Guerra; and his sister-in-law Juany Guerra. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
