It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amada Margarita Herrera of Zapata, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lucio Herrera; her parents, Genaro Navarro and Ramona Martinez; and her brothers, Sergio Navarro, Ramon Navarro, Andres Navarro and Bartolome Navarro.
She is survived by: her son Lucio Herrera Jr. (Anna); her grandchildren, Lucio Herrera III and Jacqueline R. Herrera; and her sisters, Guadalupe N Yzaguirre and Romelia N. Guzman. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1610 Hidalgo Blvd, Zapata, TX 78076). A procession will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
