He is survived by: his wife Helen Byrn Mendoza; his son Alonzo Mendoza Jr.; his siblings, Roberto Mendoza (Oralia) and Socorro Salinas (Alonso); and his nieces and nephews, Mario Mendoza (Vanessa), Marisol M. Raymond, Margarita M. Garcia (Alex), Dario A. Salinas (Susie), Leopoldo Salinas (Norma), Lorenzo Salinas, Arturo Salinas (Magda), Israel Salinas and Leticia Salinas. He is also survived by numerous grand nephews and nieces, and by many friends.
