Zella Thiele Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Thiele of Yorktown, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Chalk and Annie Pruett Chalk; her husband L. C. Thiele; and her siblings, Doris Stuart, Lane Chalk, Homer Chalk, David Chalk and Richard Chalk.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Thomas; her son-in-law David of Dallas; her son Clifford Thiele; her daughter-in-law Krista of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Leah Brown (Jeff), Joy Thiele, David A. Thomas and Jordan Barnett (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Sadie, Owen Brown, Levi Thiele and Hayze Barnett; and her nephew Rick Chalk (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health situation, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, funeral service and graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to First Baptist Church of Yorktown or donor's choice.
