He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carroll and Blanche Lyttle Carroll; his siblings, Dorothy McMillan (John), Mary Carroll, Virginia Fox (Hugh), Hubert Carroll (Eunice) and Jimmy Carroll; and his brother-in-law Robert Kimble.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Cole Carroll; his children, Shirley Smith (Dan), Lisa Gilliland, Roanleigh Carroll, Glenda Bodenhamer (Calvin), Melissa Weise (Randy) and Marcie Smith (Robert); his sisters, Carolyn Mayzum (Tom) and June Kimble; and his sister-in-law Betty Carroll. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
