Wayne Sparck Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2025, at the age of 70, Wayne Sparck of Yorktown, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Wayne's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Butschek Billings; and his wife Virginia Ryan Sparck of Michael's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his father Vernon Sparck; his daughter Erin Sparck (Dustin Bachrach); his sister Susan Franke (Michael); and his nieces, Ashleigh Peyton (Travis) and Meghan Davis (Adam Cortez).

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (779 N Riedel St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (234 N Gohmert St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (900 N Valley St, Cuero, TX 77954).

Pallbearers: Tim Watlington, Larry Gohmert, Adam Cortez, Travis Peyton, Kevin Ryan, Gary Ryan, Memorials may be given to Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center in Victoria, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or donor's choice.
