We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023, at the age of 89, Victoria Garza of Yorktown, Texas, born in Goliad, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reymundo Valdez and Geronima Martinez Valdez; her husband Pedro Garza; her son-in-law Willie Reyes; and her siblings, Paula Vega, Aurora Perez, Angela Perez, Sophia Hernandez, Leonardo Valdez, Julian Valdez, Samuel Valdez, Frank Valdez, Estaquio M. Valdez, Benito Valdez Sr. and Joe Valdez.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Reyes, Maria Gomez, Louisa Alvarez, Pedro Garza (Precilla), Nora Garcia (Troy) and Philip Garza (Nicole); her son-in-law Joe Alvarez; her grandchildren, Robert Reyes (Jennifer), Richard Reyes (Karisa), Roger Reyes, Rubin Reyes, Ramiro Gomez, Douglas Gomez, Carlos Gomez (Kiera), Norma Luera (Cruz), Crusita Gomez (Daniel Palamarez), Lira Gomez (Logan Garcia), Patrick Alvarez (Sarah Hughes), Amy Rodriguez (Michael), Gwendle Rodriguez (Fernando), Gabrielle Garza (Mardi Newkirk), Pedro Manuel Garza (Angelica), Julie Hughes (Dylan), Mario Garza (Chloe Ellison), Katrina Jackson (Byrce Proctor), Jeffrey Jackson (Crystal), Anna Garcia (Nicholas Fuentes), Jesse Garcia (Jami), Steven Garcia, Joshua Garza, Samuel Garza, Daniel Garza and Victoria Grace Garza; and her siblings, Maria Mendoza and Ismael Valdez Sr.. She is also survived by 58 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
