He was predeceased by: his father Roland Riedesel. He is survived by: his mother Gail Gras Riedesel; his siblings, Gil Riedesel (Beth) and Martha Podsim (Arvid); his aunt Page Graves; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Podsim, Larissa Kitchens (Michael), Robyn Smith (Roger) and Erin Schroeder (Adam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Barrett, Hunter, Isaac, Eliott, Alexander, Ezekiel, Hazel and Sierra.

Memorial donations in Robert's name may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or Donor's Choice.
