He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Metting and Willis Spies Metting; and his sister Marlys Metting. He is survived by: his daughters, Chantae Adams (Kurt) and Chandrea Frantz (Derek); his grandchildren, Kody Baldwin, Connor Adams, Cole Adams and Cade Frantz; his great grandchildren, Kolt Baldwin and Sevryn Baldwin; his brothers, Gregg Metting (Darlene) and Todd Metting (Laurie); and his nephews, Dave Metting (Tina), Clint Metting (Lynette), Dustin Metting (Laci) and Brian Metting.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (779 N Riedel St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (234 N Gohmert St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery (234 N Gohmert St, Yorktown, TX 78164).
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Yorktown EMS, Pet Adoptions of Cuero, or donor's choice.
