She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Merks and Emma Strakos Merks; her husband Charles "Chuck" Winslette; her grandson Adam Weise; and her great grandchildren, David Charles Weaver and Emily Taylor Weaver.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Metting of Yorktown, TX, Arleen Weise of Bloomington, TX, Judy Henze of Yorktown, TX and Tammy McLaughlin of Anderson, Indiana.; and her brother Harlan Merks Sr.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
