She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Gamez and Lydia Gamez; and her siblings, Emilio Medrano and Marylou Arguellez. She is survived by: her husband Alejandro V. Alvarez Sr. (Alex); her children, Alex Alvarez Jr. (Lurah), Abel Alvarez, Lydia Alexander (Jim) and Rose Mary Royall (David); and her siblings, Larry Valdez, Adam Valdez, Julian Valdez, Paul Valdez, Patricia Zatopek and Josephine Hinechey. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
