We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 93, Lela Ruppert of Yorktown, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Riedesel and Gesine Schmidt Riedesel; her father-in-law H. C. Ruppert; her husband LeRoy Ruppert; and her siblings, Edna Rayes, Jane Metting, Viola Teschendorf, August, Valentine, Ewald, Hugo, Edward, George, Elton Louis and Lee Roy Riedesel.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Ruppert (Jan), Laura Sanders and Peggy Oliver; and her grandchildren, Carl David Clyne, Melissa Alcazar (Jose), Jeffery Ruppert (Donna), Misty Corpus, Jennifer Franke (Derek) and Derrick Green (Ashley). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St Paul Lutheran Church, Hospice of South Texas, or donor's choice.
