He is survived by: his wife Dianne Poetter Simpson; his children, Marsha White (Steve) of Katy, TX, Charles Simpson (Amelia) of Houston, TX, Brad Simpson (Belinda) of Bellaire, TX and Virginia Spangler (Eric) of Arlington, WA.; his grandchildren, Brian White (Briana), John White (Samantha), Daniel White (Emily), James Edward Cole Simpson, Michael Trigg Simpson, Taylor Simpson, Jacob Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Georgiana Simpson, Andrew Spangler (Icie), Sarah Spangler, Rebekah Swanson (Mick) and Bethany Spangler; his great grandchildren, Jackson White and Beatrice Swanson; his sister Mary Ausburn of San Antonio, TX; and his nephews, John Ausburn, Bryan Ausburn of Dallas, TX, Paul Ausburn and Adam Ausburn of San Antonio, TX..
