He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Sr. Villarreal and Agustina Corpus Villarreal; his siblings, Irene Boerm, Glorias Sanford and Nicolas Villarreal Jr.; his grandson Marcus Puente; and his aunt Ofelia Corpus.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Villarreal; his daughters, Esther Puente (Mike) and Beth Luke (Albert); his grandchildren, Brandie Puente (Bryan), Lukas Puente, Ivory Rodriguez (Ernest) and Joshua Luke (Ashley); and his siblings, Fred Villarreal (Gloria), Daniel Villarreal (Mary Helen), Robert Villarreal (Cindy), Lucy Riedesel and Amber Rios (Daniel). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
