With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlan Karnei of Yorktown, Texas, born in Weesatche, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Karnei and Amalia Wolf Karnei; his wife Georgia Mae Rabenaldt Karnei; his son Marvin Ray Karnei; and his siblings, John, Roland, Wayne Karnei, Gladys Mueller Hamilton and Pearl Crews.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Karnei (Shirley) and Debbie Runyan (Tomie); his grandchildren, Heather Gisler (Richard), Jarred Karnei (Angela), Sarah Skillman (Derrell), Kimberly Pierce (Jeremy), Lisa Karnei, Dr. Clayton Runyan (Kelly) and Tamie Coltharp (Cory); his great grandchildren, Brent, Brooke, Colby, Madeline, Chloe, Trey, Devin, Tucker, Preston, Eli, Kache, Paislee, Piper, Jack and Kizer; his brother Pete Karnei (Betty) of San Antonio; and his sister-in-law Dona Karnei of Goliad. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Weesatche, Texas, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown, Texas or donor's choice.
