He was predeceased by: his father Jose Yanes; and his siblings, Mercedes Salas, Maggie Amador, Olga Yanes, Alvin, Raul and Adam Yanes.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona; his daughters, Yoli Dederichs (David) and Patti Yanes of McKinney; his grandchildren, Rebecca and Davie Dederichs; and his sister Rachel Molina of Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Yorktown EMS, Yorktown Fire Department, Holy Cross Catholic Church or American Cancer Society.
