It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Iris Hardt of Yorktown, Texas, born in Goliad, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jr. Hurta and Louise Willms Hurta; her husbands, Aubrey Gene Hattenbach and Erwin Hardt; and her grandchildren, Maria Hattenbach and Keinn Hattenbach.
She is survived by: her close friend Judi Mozisek; her son Michael Hattenbach (Sheryl); her grandsons, Jacob Tharsher and Derek Alan Hattenbach; and her siblings, Jesse Hurta (Linda), Sam Hurta (Donna), JoLois Schuenemann and Susie Wolfshohl (Doug). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Yorktown EMS, Westside Cemetery or donor's choice.
