He was predeceased by: his parents, P. A. Martinez and Lillie Mata Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Lupe F. Martinez; his children, Bryan Martinez (Susan) of Edinburg, TX, Belinda Flores (Sammy) of Victoria, TX and Cindy Cowin (Scott) of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Candace DeClet (John), Frederick "Rico" Lerma (Mikayela), Lucas Martinez and Eli Martinez; his great grandchildren, Christopher DeClet, Sophie DeClet, Jude Lerma, Luke Lerma and Everett Lerma; and his sisters, Rebecca Montoya of Pleasanton, Rachael Robinson of Yorktown and Rosie Bolenbuacher of San Antonio.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (779 N Riedel St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (1214 Zorn Rd, Yorktown, TX 78164). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1214 Zorn Rd, Yorktown, TX 78164).
