She was predeceased by: her parents, John Watson and Grace Johnson Watson; her husband James Crosson; her daughter Sandra Saunders; her grandsons, Marion and Jamie; her great grandchildren, Koren and Aaron; her great great grandchild Elizabeth Grace; and her siblings, Opal Lesley, Mildred Wood, Johnny Lee Watson, Marvin Watson and JD Watson Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Dalene Smith (Gary); her sister Mary Sue Gipson; her son-in-law James Saunders; and her grandchildren, Bobby Bowers, Gary Smith Jr. (Christina), Tara Smith, Clint Smith, Wendy Curry, Tammy Saunders, Troy Saunders (Ellen) and Ricky Saunders (Bianca). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Massey Funeral Home (779 N Riedel St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:40 AM at the Westside Cemetery Westside Cemetery (1335 Westside Cemetery Rd, Yorktown, TX 78164).
