He is survived by: his wife Mallie Sue Thames Stanchos; his daughter Jennifer Lane Stanchos (Wes); his grandsons, Trey and Sean Phillips; his siblings, Phyllis Bridges (Reinhold) of Live Oak and Dieter Stanchos (Cathy) of El Paso; and his siblings-in-law, Johnana Thames Clark (Stephen) of McQueeney and John English Thames Jr. (Beth) of Spring. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
