She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmidt and Minnie Pakebusch Schmidt; her husband Roland Alex; and her siblings, Eugene, Charlie and Erleene.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Semper (Cliffe); her grandson Aaron Semper (Lindsay); and her great grandchildren, Wade, Peyton and Luke.
