He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schoenfeld and Adela Rathke Schoenfeld; and his siblings, Lorene Glass (Grady), Norwin Schoenfeld (Roy Evelyn) and Herman Lee Schoenfeld.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Kneifel Schoenfeld. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
