Sophie Wood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophie Wood (Yoakum, Texas), who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Jahn and Ivy Alice Jahn (Jemison); her spouse Archibald "Archie" Wood; her children, Doris Marie and David Wayne; and her siblings, Viola Tesch, Lee Ora Schott, Carrie Manuel, Rosalee Johnson, Bill, Vic, Maurice, Johnny and Carl Travis Jahn.
She is survived by: her sister Annie Marie Hall of Odessa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation or her beloved, Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
