He was predeceased by: his parents, Evaristo Buenteo and Josefa Buenteo (Canales); his wife Maria Zelma "Lita"; and his brother Carlos Rene Buenteo. He is survived by: his brother Raymond Buenteo of Houston; his sister-in-law Elda Buenteo of George West; his nephew Rudy Buenteo (Kathy); his great-nephew Trevor Buenteo; and his son Luca.
