He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda Joyce Jacobs; and his brother Johnny Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jacobs of Yoakum; his children, Janet Absher (Mike) of Moulton, Linda Sternadel (David) of Hope and Randall Jacobs (Sheri) of Hope; his grandchildren, Jacob Absher (Renee), Brandon Absher (Tiffany), Reagan Jacobs, Mathis Sternadel, Lindsey Jacobs and Lauren Sternadel; his great grandchildren, Bryson and Landry Absher; his brother Richard Jacobs (Sandra); and his brother-in-law Glenn Wilkerson (Pat). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Baptist Church, Salem Cemetery or Hope Community Center.
