He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cooper and Maudie Cooper; and his siblings, Rayford, Kenneth, Cleo, Doris and Darlene.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Granberry of Yoakum; his children, Lisa Burke (Stephen) of Houston and Brandon Cooper (Jennifer) of Yoakum; and his grandchildren, Cale, Faith Burke, Emma, Sarah and Zachary Cooper.
