He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ray Galindo and Martin Galindo. He is survived by: his children, Nancy G. Perez (John) of Port Lavaca and Ernest Rene Galindo of Yoakum; his grandsons, Frankie J. Chavana (Amanda) and Mito Rene Rodriguez (Leann); his great grandchildren, Addison and Landry Chavana; his brothers, Jimmy Galindo (Isabel) of Houston, Ronnie Galindo (Kay) of Willis and Noel Galindo (Ruth) of Larkspurs, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Nancy Galindo of Yoakum.
