He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry M. C. and Marie Wagner Hughes; and his siblings, Brenda Smith and Tommy Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Chomout Hughes; his children, Malinda Hendley (Kent), Kerri McLean (Steven), Tonya Hiers (Howard), Leonard Norrid (Jaime), Norman Hughes (Donna), Robert Gordon (Lisa) and Patrick Gordon (Robyn); and his siblings, Vickie Wren (Howard), Donny Hughes (Liz), Lester Hughes (Betty) and Gene Hughes (Robin). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
