He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel B. Brazil; his grandparents, Ollie and Ethel Brazil; and his nephew Kirk Evans Brazil. He is survived by: his girlfriend Laredo Paulton of Yoakum; his sons, Melvin Brown of Las Vegas, Darrell Brown of Las Vegas and Troy Brazil of Austin; his sister Carolyn Brazil of Yoakum; and his niece Jacqueline Valigura of Austin. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
