It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Schumacher of Yoakum, Texas, born in Sweet Home, Texas, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Smolik and Otelia Smolik (Mozisek); her former husband Cecil M. Maresch; her husband Harvey E. Schumacher; her grandson David Keith Schoenfeld; her great grandchild Karter Michael Raab; her sons-in-law, Curtis A. Billimek and Harry E. Meyer; her sister Lorene McElroy (RJ); and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Sommerlatte, Sterling Maresch and Earl Nordloh.
She is survived by: her friend Harvey E. Schumacher; her daughters, Shirley Schoenfield (David) of Moulton, JoAnn Meyer (Bobby Berger) of Moulton, Patsy Mikulencak (Leroy Jr.) of Moulton, Mary Ann Henry (Dwight) of Moulton and Annette Rath (Erwin) of Cuero; her grandchildren, Pamela Tucker (Ryan), Ashley Mikes (Matthew), Michael Raab (Jayme), Tiffany Raab, Robin Harvey (Lance), Diane Picha (Michael) and Stacy Wagner (Dusty); and her sisters, Dorothy Nordloh and Betty Boudreaux (Robert Butch).
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice of South Texas or Pink Ladies Auxillary.
