She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lauer and Virginia Albrecht Lauer; her husband Norman Nickle Sr.; and her daughters, Susan Nickle and Sally Nickle.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Detten (Dale) of Paige, Bruce Nickle (Mary) of Victoria, Craig Nickle (Danave) of Yoakum and Norman Nickle Jr (Glenda) of Victoria; her grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell (Kit), Debra Bastian (Brian), Pam Trenck (Phillip), Julie Franke (Clayton), Sarah Walthall (Cody), Amanda Idlett (Dallas), Jonathan Nickle (Julie), Matt Marshall (Haley), Norman Nickle III (Amy), Maddie McCracken (Conner) and Glynna Nickle; and her sister Virginia Fitch of Kilgore. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
