It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Vahalik of Yoakum, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Freddie Chapman; and her brothers, Tommy Dodson and Ronnie Dodson. She is survived by : her husband Edmund Vahalik of Yoakum; her sons, Johnny Vahalik (Michelle) of San Antonio and Jerry Vahalik of Yoakum; her grandchildren, Nick, Brittany, Katelin, Tommy, Lauren, Mia and Hannah; her siblings, Mike Dodson, Jody Dodson, Sandra Rankin and Tanya Ussery; and her pets, Oreo and Rascal.

Memorials may be given to St. Ann's Catholic Church or St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery.
