He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Barrera Sr. and Sophie Barrera; and his brother Pete Barrera, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Eleanor Greer (Corey), Amanda Barrera and Roland Nunez (Robin); his grandchildren, Ryan, Madelyn, Landyn and RJ; and his sisters, Sylvia Espinoza (Fred), Terri Guerrero (Ruben), Carol Camarillo (Jacob) and Belinda Hall.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home (1477 Carl Ramert Dr, Yoakum, TX 77995). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Crown Hospice of Victoria, TX or Sweet Home American Legion.
