He was predeceased by: his father John Trojcak Sr.; his former wife Rose Trojcak (Stary); his mother Emma Donnelly (Trojcak); and his brother Victor Trojcak. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Trojcak (Bludau) of Hallettsville; his children, Karen Quinney (Jay) of Yoakum, Dennis Trojcak (Linda Duenes) of Yoakum, Michael Trojcak (Robin) of Yoakum and Susan Bludau Herrington of Sugar Land; his grandchildren, Bryan Trojcak (Breana), Kylie Quinney, Ally Trojcak, Hadley Trojcak, Amanda Muzny (Brent) and James Herrington (Gianna); his sisters, Dorothy Rehak (Gene) of Victoria and Delores Floyd (John); and his great grandchild James Herrington. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
