He was predeceased by: his father William Hites. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Smith Hites (Brewer); his children, Jennifer Littrel (Scott) of Florida, Angela Hites of Florida and John Hites of Georgia; his stepson Gary Smith of Austin; his mother Donna May Taylor Hites (Taylor) of Fort Worth; his sister Deborah Scoefield (Kenny) of Fort Worth; and his grandson Jacob Spore.
Memorials may be made to River of Life Church in Yoakum.
