It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ritz (Yoakum, Texas), born in Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Ritz; her son Bryan Ritz; and her siblings, Mabel, Marcie, Nellie, Mary Agnes, Rene, Preston, Edward, Robert, John Paul and Richard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Janecek (Pat) of Inez, Debbie Humphreys (Joe) of Victoria and Renee Wheeler (Bruce) of Goliad; her brother Don Crow (Connie) of Yoakum; her grandchildren, Meredith Wheeler Flatt, Shannon Ritz, Blake Ritz (Brandi), Jake Humphreys, Jenny Davis (Cory), Amanda Humphreys, Joshua Janecek, Stacy Fisher and Daniel Janecek; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Conner, Camille, Ainsley, Blaise, Piper and Fisher.
Memorial contributions may be given to Adopt-A-Pet of Victoria, First Baptist Church of El Campo or donor's choice.
