She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Grahmann and Helen Grahmann (Woitaske); her husband Benedict Joseph Barton; her grandchildren, Sarah Barton and Benedict Barton; and her siblings, Thelma Spies, Viola Grahmann, Virginia Pustka and David Grahmann.
She is survived by: her children, John Barton (Ruth) of Hallettsville, Mark Barton of Yoakum, Joan Barton of Yoakum, Rose Koehl (Gerald) of Columbus, James Barton (Bonnie) of Richmond, Jeffery Barton (Valerie) of Victoria and Lorie Drummond (Robin) of Hallettsville; and her siblings, Francis Hanslik, Gertrude Janak, Andrew Grahmann and Mary Bruening. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
