He was predeceased by: his parents, Murie Simpson and Grace Simpson (Peasley); and his brother Dennis Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Simpson; his children, Toni Fitzgibbon (Chris), Shawn Simpson and Cameron Simpson (Janine); and his granddaughter Jessie Rose Simpson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Medical Center.
