Clarence Hodges Sr. Obituary

HOUSTON: Clarence Eugene Hodges Sr., 86, entered his sunset, Monday, April 25, 2022. He was born December 11, 1935 in Hochheim, one of the 12 children born to Curley and Eva (Davis) Hodges.

Clarence was an auto mechanic, was a hard worker "jack of all trades", a good honest man and a good provider for his family. He loved his family dearly and tried to help everyone that he could.

Survivors are his sons, Frederick Hodges Sr., Marcus Hodges, Eric Hodges, all of Houston and additional children, Lawrence, Lydia, Clarence and Timothy; sister, Linda Hodges of Yoakum and numerous extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Clarence Hodges Jr.; four sisters, Grace Giles, Elner Jean Hodges, Faye Hodges and April Hodges; five brothers, Wesley Hodges, Curley Hodges Jr., John Hodges, Ernest Hodges, Bobby Hodges and Alfred Hodges.

Funeral Service 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Boston Gates officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasantville Cemetery next to his parents and siblings.
