She is survived by: her father Joseph Machalec; her husband Thomas Kennedy; her children, Wendy Migl, Thomas Rex Kennedy III, Conrad Kennedy (Stephanie) and Joseph Kennedy; her grandchildren, Kaden Kennedy, Clayton Migl, Dayce Kennedy and Kory Hilker; and her siblings, Lisa Hrncir, Kenneth Machalec, Joseph "JoJo" Machalec (Mary), Michael Machalec and Robert Machalec.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of South Texas or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
