He was predeceased by: his stepfather Fairl Turnage. He is survived by: his wife Ursula Davenport of Dry Prong; his daughters, Cheyanne Davenport of Baytown and Taylor Dykes (Aaron) of Dry Prong; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kolten, Christopher, Dakota, Bentley and Lane; his mother Phyllis Melton; his stepfather Bob Melton (Jane) of Dayton; and his brother Joey Melton (Sheila) of Baytown. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to help defray funeral expenses.
