It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Kuykendall of Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Davis and Willie Mae Davis (Green); her husband Marvin Kuykendall Sr.; her daughters, Myra Sue Kuykendall and Florence Thomas; and her granddaughters, Saleemah Paulton and Ornice Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Pierson (Clenzie) of Houston, Laredo Paulton of Yoakum, Marlene Harris of Houston, Marvin Kuykendall Jr. and Carl Kuykendall; and her sisters, Velma Collins of Galveston and Tommie Lee Tobin of Missouri City. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
