It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Stary (Yoakum, Texas), born in Shiner, Texas, who passed away on June 17, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Stary and Mary Steffek Stary; and his sister Rose Trojcak. He is survived by: his wife Mary Amaya Stary; his children, Laura West (Ricky) of Cuero, Lisa Lorke (Ric) of Yoakum, Sheila Harrison (Maurice) of Yoakum, Steven Stary (Kelle) of Yoakum, Cory Mathew Stary (Tiffany) of Yoakum and Michael Anzaldua (Rachel) of Yoakum; and his brother Anton Stary (Sybil) of Yoakum. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
